Kicillof: «Pagar para evitar un mal mayor y cuidar la provincia»

El gobernador bonaerense, Axel Kicillof, afirmó hoy que la decisión de pagar con recursos propios de Buenos Aires el vencimiento de capital de 250 millones de dólares que había intentado diferir al 1 de mayo, responde al hecho de «cuidar a la provincia».

En declaraciones formuladas esta mañana a Telefe, el mandatario afirmó que ayer se evitó «un mal mayor», ya que «si hubiéramos caído en default, se hubiera desordenado todo»; y añadió que «la economía se tiene que recuperar» y que es necesario «poder crecer».

«Venimos de cuatro años de crisis, de emergencia y endeudamiento muy grandes, y hay que buscar soluciones que no implique ni acogotar al que menos tiene, ni al que produce, ni al que trabaja», expresó Kicillof.

El gobernador pidió «comprender por qué estamos acá» y remarcó que al asumir se encontró «con una infernal cantidad de vencimientos de deuda».

Asimismo, criticó «el sobreendeudamiento enorme» que dejó Mauricio Macri, y expuso que «ahora se inició a nivel nacional un proceso de diálogo con los bonistas porque la deuda, como está, es impagable».

«Yo debo resolver estos problemas sin seguir empeorando las condiciones en que la gente vive», destacó Kicillof, y remarcó que «ahora estamos iniciando la reestructuración» del pasivo provincial en moneda extranjera.

Destacó la necesidad de «generar una expansión de la economía que nos dé margen para poder afrontar los pagos», y adelantó que «la propuesta de la provincia estará en línea con la Nación».

También reiteró que «los vencimientos de este año nos ponen en un situación imposible», y recordó que este año vencen 220 mil millones de pesos de deuda «íntegramente producida por la gestión pasada», lo que representa «el 15% de los fondos de la provincia”.

Por último, Kicillof manifestó que la prioridad de su gestión es «atender las urgencias».
